We all know that "Going Green" is a global initiative taking place in not only the PR industry, but all industries.
In the two weeks I have been with The Fairmont Royal York hotel, I myself have become quite passionate with how a company's green initiatives can be used to conserve energy but how it can be used to brand everything from hotels to water bottles.
"Going Green" is a trend that can be used to show how proactive a company has become and how it plans to stay that way.
Myself and the PR team at The Fairmont Royal York have been using TweetDeck and OneMillionActs of Green.com as an outlet to display our proactive ways and to brand our hotels.
I know you are all fully aware of the "Going Green" phenomenon, so don't think I'm trying to teach you anything. I'm only saying, "Don't forget about it!"

This is so true!! Court, I love that you've embraced your 'green' side. They do great initiatives here in the office too...especially in the kitchen! But it sounds like FRYH is putting forth some great efforts.
